Job summary

Island Health is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department. This part-time night-shift role in Anacortes, WA entails 0.6 FTE (24 hours/week). You will provide direct care across the lifespan, manage triage, and administer medications per nursing standards.

Required: WA RN license, ED experience preferred; certifications as applicable; strong teamwork and communication. Nights include differential pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Washington State RN license required.
• Emergency Department experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients from infancy to adulthood.
• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Administer medications and treatments with correct dosages.
• Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care.
• Communicate with patients, families and health team members.
