Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking an RN-ER travel nurse for the Emergency Department in North Carolina for a 13-week onsite contract starting 10/05/2026. You will float to Harnett Health locations as needed, with 1:4 patient ratios, and must meet the callouts makeup policy.

The role requires BLS, ACLS, CPI, PALS, NIH certifications, and allows first-timers. Weekend rotation every other, 12-hour night shifts, 4 days/week.

• 36, holidays required and float to all Harnett Health locations as needed. All callouts for scheduled shift(s) will require makeup shift(s) as deemed necessary by department.

Ratios: 1:4

Will this traveler need to float within scope to meet facility needs/float between like units: Y, must be able and willing to float between both campuses

Open to accommodating block scheduling:

Locals accepted: No - 50-mile radius rule from Betsy Johnson and Central Harnett

Pending License accepted: N

RTO Restrictions: per manager's discretion

Guaranteed Hours: call off policy of 2 shifts per 13-week assignment. Once that is met all hours based on contracted shifts are guaranteed.

Special Requirements:

• Return Staff Policy: Have to be gone for 1 year to return as a traveler.
• System has a 2 contract limit (can only extend once ) then has to be gone for 6 months to return.
