Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse for Asheville, NC. This onsite night shift role features 12-hour days, three days per week, on a 13-week contract beginning 9/30/2026.

Compensation includes a $1,400 weekly stipend plus $14/hour with $504 weekly base pay. The ED uses Cerner, and certifications ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS are required (ENPC within 90 days).

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI and NIHSS certifications required before or on hire.
• ENPC certification to be completed within 90 days of hire.

General Information

Unit Specifics

• Number of Beds : 101
• Patient Ratios : 4:1 typically- medical, up to 7:1 on ED behavioral holds
• Unit staffing description- Techs available- work in cardiac monitoring unit and the internal processing area, triage, Unit clerks days and nights
• Type of equipment : baxter pumps, Client monitors
• Documentation system: Cerner
• Scheduling requirements: Every other weekend, can t commit to block scheduling, scheduling must meet the needs of the dept.
• Floating policy: No floating outside of the ED but must be open to floating to all sections in the ED.
• Patient Experience requirements: AIDET, Respectful behavior, Pt Experience to each patient, Boards updated with info and pt updated throughout visit
