RWJBarnabas Health in Jersey City, NJ is seeking a Physician Assistant for the Night shift in Emergency Medicine Associates. You will deliver primary health care in the ED and inpatient settings, manage common illnesses and injuries, and coordinate patient care with the health care team to ensure timely treatment and safe discharge.

Required are a Master’s in PA Studies, PA certification, NJ licensure, BLS and ACLS, and CDS/DEA credentials.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in PA studies required.
• PA certification and NJ licensure required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• CDS and DEA licensure for NJ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtains and records patient history
• Performs physical and medical screening examinations
• Completes diagnostic and therapeutic studies
• Orders diagnostic laboratory tests, radiological studies or other therapies as appropriate
• Coordinates patient care with other members of the health care team
