Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Pharmacist to support clinical and distributive pharmacy services with a focus on safe, cost-effective therapies. You will participate in departmental programs, handle medication dispensing per policy, and contribute to educational goals while ensuring patient safety.

The role requires a Pharm D or B.S. in Pharmacy, active licensure, and preferably ASHP PGY1 residency or equivalent. Hospital experience and proactive practice improvement are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Pharm D degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Hospital pharmacy experience is preferred; licensure in good standing required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Participate in departmental clinical programs and regulatory reporting as assigned.
• Process orders and dispense medications per established policies and procedures.
• Contribute to education goals and improve pharmacy processes to enhance safety and outcomes.
