Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a pharmacist to support clinical and distributive pharmacy services and ensure optimal pharmaceutical care for all patients daily. The role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining clinical programs to promote safe, cost-effective therapies across all age groups.

The position requires a Pharmacy degree (PharmD or BS) with licensure in good standing and a preference for PGY1 residency and hospital experience.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy.
ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent preferred but not required.
Preferred hospital pharmacy experience.
Active pharmacist licensure and in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy.
Preceptor license maintained through OK State Board of Pharmacy at start date.
Board certification in related practice area encouraged.

Responsibilities

Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
Participate in departmental clinical programs and maintain compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
Process orders and dispense medications per established procedures.
Assist in accreditation and reporting requirements to external agencies.
Contribute to educational goals of the department.
Improve pharmacy process efficiency to promote patient safety and outcomes.
