Norman Regional Health System seeks a licensed pharmacist to contribute to clinical and distributive pharmacy services, ensuring safe, effective therapies and cost control. The role involves processing orders, dispensing medications, and supporting department-wide clinical programs.

Required to maintain Oklahoma licensure and to pursue potential PGY1 preceptorship; ASHP residency and board certification are encouraged. A competitive benefits package and relocation assistance are available.

Qualifications

• Education: B.S. in Pharmacy or Pharm D from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Preferred completion of ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent, but not required.
• Preferred clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting.
• Required licensure as a pharmacist and in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy.
• Required to maintain preceptor license through the OK State Board of Pharmacy upon hire.
• Required to achieve/maintain ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency program preceptorship upon hire.
• Strongly encouraged to achieve/maintain board-certification in related practice area.

Responsabilités

• Ensures age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Participates in departmental targeted clinical programs as assigned.
• Process orders and dispense medications according to established policies, procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Administration of the ACGME accreditation and reporting requirements to external agencies.
• Contribute to the educational goals of the department.
• Enhance the performance, accuracy, and efficiency of pharmacy processes, to promote patient safety and improve outcomes.
