Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a clinical pharmacist to participate in both clinical and distributive pharmacy services, ensuring safe, cost-effective therapies for patients of all ages. The role includes processing orders, dispensing medications, and supporting accreditation/reporting obligations.

The ideal candidate may have ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency and hospital-based clinical experience, with licensure in good standing and continued preceptorship requirements.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Experience: ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Hospital-based clinical pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in clinical and distributive pharmacy services to ensure optimal pharmaceutical care for all patients.
• Process orders and dispense medications per policies and regulatory requirements; support ACGME accreditation reporting.
• Contribute to educational goals of the department and enhance pharmacy process performance and patient safety.
