Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a pharmacist to participate in clinical and distributive services, ensuring safe and cost-effective therapies for patients. The role includes dispensing per policy, supporting accreditation requirements, and contributing to departmental education.

Preferred candidates may have an ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency and hospital pharmacy experience; licensure in good standing with the OK State Board is required, with preceptor licensure expected on hire.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy.
ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency preferred, but not required.
Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the state board of licensure.

Responsibilities

Participates in clinical pharmacy services and supports distributive pharmacy operations.
Ensures safe, effective, and cost-conscious pharmacotherapy for all patients.
Dispenses medications following policies and regulatory requirements; supports accreditation reporting.
Contributes to educational goals of the department and enhances pharmacy processes for patient safety.
