Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm D from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Experience: ASHP PGY1 residency preferred but not required.
• Preferred hospital clinical pharmacy experience.
• Licensed pharmacist in good standing with state board.
• Preceptor license required upon hire.
• ASHP PGY1 residency preceptorship required upon hire.
• Board certification encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Participate in departmental clinical programs and medical order processing.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Support educational goals of the department.
• Enhance accuracy and efficiency of pharmacy processes to promote patient safety.
