Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a pharmacist to participate in clinical and distributive pharmacy services, ensuring safe, cost-effective therapies for patients across ages. The role supports program development and maintains compliance with regulatory requirements, with opportunities for education and process improvement.

The position offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus plus relocation assistance, with compensation up to $81.87 per hour based on experience, and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency is preferred but not required.
• Preferred clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting.
• Required licensure as a pharmacist and in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy.
• Required to maintain preceptor license through the OK State Board of Pharmacy upon hire.
• Required to achieve/maintain ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency program preceptorship upon hire.
• Strongly encouraged to achieve/maintain board-certification in related practice area.

Responsibilities

• Ensures age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Participates in departmental targeted clinical programs as assigned.
• Process orders and dispense medications according to established policies, procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements.

• Contribute to the educational goals of the department.
• Enhance the performance, accuracy, and efficiency of pharmacy processes, to promote patient safety and improve outcomes.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Pharm D degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
