Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a pharmacist to participate in all clinical pharmacy services, support distributive pharmacy services, and ensure optimal pharmaceutical care for patients daily. The role develops, implements, and maintains clinical and distributive processes and programs that promote safe, cost‑effective therapies across all ages.

Requirements include a BS in Pharmacy or PharmD, Oklahoma license or eligibility, and a willingness to pursue ASHP PGY1 residency

Qualifications

• Education: BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited college.
• Experience: ASHP-accredited PGY1 Residency preferred but not required.
• Preferred hospital clinical pharmacy experience.
• Licensure as a pharmacist in good standing with the OK State Board.
• Maintain preceptor license with the OK State Board upon hire.
• Achieve/maintain ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency program preceptorship on hire.
• Board certification in related practice area encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medications for patients.
• Participate in departmental clinical programs as assigned.
• Process orders and dispense medications according to policies and regulations.
• Administer ACGME accreditation and reporting requirements to external agencies.
• Enhance the performance, accuracy, and efficiency of pharmacy processes to promote safety and outcomes.
