Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a pharmacist to participate in clinical and distributive pharmacy services, aiming to deliver optimal pharmaceutical care daily. You will support program development, ensure safe, cost-effective therapies, and contribute to departmental goals across age groups.

Title requires an active OK pharmacist license and may include PGY1 residency preceptorship; relocation/sign-on assistance offered. Competitive hospital benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Hospital-based clinical pharmacy experience preferred.
• Active pharmacist licensure in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy.
• Preceptor license maintenance with OK State Board of Pharmacy upon hire.
• ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency program preceptorship upon hire.
• Board certification in related practice area strongly encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Ensure age-appropriate, safe, cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Participate in departmental clinical programs as assigned.
• Process orders and dispense medications per policies, procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with accreditation and reporting requirements to external agencies.
• Contribute to educational goals of the department.
• Improve performance, accuracy, and efficiency of pharmacy processes to promote patient safety and outcomes.
