Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is hiring a pharmacist to participate in clinical and distributive pharmacy services, ensuring safe, cost-effective therapies for patients across all ages. You will support program development, process improvements, and regulatory compliance on a daily basis.

The role requires a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, Oklahoma licensure, and a PGY1 residency or equivalent preferred; hospital experience is ideal. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency preferred but not required.
• Preferred clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting.
• Required licensure as a pharmacist in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy.
• Required to maintain preceptor license through the OK State Board of Pharmacy upon hire.
• Required to achieve/maintain ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency program preceptorship upon hire.
• Board certification in related practice area encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Participate in departmental targeted clinical programs as assigned.
• Process orders and dispense medications according to established policies, procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Administration of the ACGME accreditation and reporting requirements to external agencies.
• Contribute to the educational goals of the department.
• Enhance the performance, accuracy, and efficiency of pharmacy processes, to promote patient safety and improve outcomes.
