Job summary

You will support program development, policy adherence, and daily dispensing tasks within a hospital setting.

Required licensure in good standing with the OK State Board; ASHP PGY1 preceptorship is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist licensure in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy.
• Maintain preceptor license through the OK State Board of Pharmacy upon hire.
• ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency program preceptorship encouraged but not required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Participates in departmental targeted clinical programs as assigned.
• Process orders and dispense medications according to established policies, procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to the educational goals of the department.
• Enhance the performance, accuracy, and efficiency of pharmacy processes, to promote patient safety and improve outcomes.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Pharm D degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
