Job summary

Norman Regional Health System seeks a clinically oriented pharmacist to support both clinical and distributive pharmacy services, ensuring safe, cost-effective therapies for all age groups. The role involves participating in clinical programs and maintaining compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements.

Required licensure and preceptor status with the OK State Board of Pharmacy, with ASHP PGY1 residency preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Preferred completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent, but not required.
• Preferred hospital clinical pharmacy experience.
• Licensed pharmacist in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy and maintain preceptor licensure.

Responsibilities

• Ensures age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Participates in departmental clinical programs and supports distributive services.
• Process orders and dispense medications according to policies and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to educational goals and improve pharmacy processes to enhance patient safety.
