Qualifications

• Must meet one of the following criteria: Nurse Aide Certification, Certified Medical Assistant, Louisiana EMT license, or nursing program status.
• BLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide approved patient treatments and care under supervision.
• Assist in admission, transfer and discharge processes with bedside support.
• Maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for patients.
• Respond to call lights promptly and assist with activities of daily living.
• Handle medications securely and assist in obtaining supplies as needed.
• Support ER staff with documentation, vital signs, and patient safety.
