Responsibilities

• Patient Care: Performs approved treatments under supervision and in a professional manner.
• Delivers medications from the pharmacy or pneumatic tube system to the nurse or secure location.
• Greet patients and families during admission/transfer/discharge and assist with vital signs and paperwork.
• Maintain neat, clean, and safe work area and ensure supplies and linens are adequately stocked.
• Answer calls and intercom messages and relay to appropriate staff.
• Assist in caring for deceased patients and support families as needed.
