Job summary

Sanitas in Hillsborough, North Tampa, FL is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator to join a high-quality medical team on-site. The role focuses on patient care, triage, and coordinating with nursing and radiology staff in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include performing triage, wound care, basic procedures setup, and inputting discharge instructions into the system. Travel is negligible; the position is full-time.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• One (1) year’s experience is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Advanced English is required.
• Spanish and Creole are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care to a variety of patients (fast track, med/surg and critical care).
• Perform quality splinting, dressing applications, and wound care.
• EKG monitoring with recognition of basic arrhythmias.
• Assist in procedure setup (e.g., I&D, suture, vaginal exam).
• Properly triage and discharge patients of all ages.
• Enter discharge instructions and prescriptions into computer systems.
• Maintain patient tracking system and coordinate with team members.
