Job summary

Sanitas Medical Center in Tampa, FL seeks a Patient Care Coordinator to support ER-style patient flow, triage, and discharge documentation in a fast-paced clinic setting. You will input discharge instructions, orders, and medications into the patient record, operate the patient tracking system, and communicate clearly with patients and staff.

Requirements include a High School Diploma, BLS certification, ability to work 9am–7pm with weekend coverage, and EMT/Paramedic experience preferred;

Qualifications

• Advanced English required; Spanish and Creole preferred.
• One year of healthcare or patient-facing experience.
• BLS certification required or in process.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care in fast-paced clinics with triage and discharge duties.
• Input discharge instructions and prescriptions into the patient record.
• Manage the patient tracking system and coordinate with front staff and radiology.
• Maintain professional communication with patients and team members.

Skills

Advanced English

EMT/Paramedic experience preferred

Strong patient communication

Typing / computer skills
