Job summary

Sanitas Medical Center is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to support a fast-paced hospital ED-like environment across fast track, med/surg and critical care areas. The role emphasizes patient experience, triage accuracy, and coordination with clinical staff to address chest pain, abdominal pain, injuries, and other conditions.

The ideal candidate holds a High School Diploma, at least one year of relevant experience, is BLS certified, and proficient in English; Spanish and Creole are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year of related experience is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Advanced English is required; Spanish and Creole are preferred.
• Travel up to 30% may be required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care across fast track, med/surg and critical care.
• Perform EKGs and cardiac monitoring with basic arrhythmia recognition.
• Assist in procedure set-up and related tasks.
• Input discharge instructions and prescriptions into computer systems.
• Manage patient tracking and coordinate with team members.
• Turn over rooms per protocol and maintain patient flow.
