Responsibilities

• Pre-register, quickly register and register patients with accurate demographic and insurance data.
• Answer switchboard/phone and respond to emergency alarms as required.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, transfers and deaths as needed.
• Process payments and maintain waiting/registration areas.
• Ensure patient privacy and provide courteous service to patients, physicians, staff and visitors.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and data gathering.
