Sovah Health Danville ER location is seeking a Patient Access Coordinator on a PRN, variable schedule with weekend rotations. The hourly range is $15.27-$18.86 to support fast, accurate patient check-in and revenue cycle tasks in a high-volume ED.

The role focuses on registration, insurance verification, and ensuring a smooth intake for patients entering the hospital, with emphasis on compassionate, efficient service.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in prior authorization or insurance verification is preferred.
• 1-2 years in customer service and/or healthcare is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Ensures all demographic, billing and clinical information is collected and entered accurately.
• Distributes forms, documents and educational handouts to patients and family members.
• Verifies insurance benefits and validates authorizations/pre-certifications.
• Completes estimations, reviews upfront collections, processes payments and payment arrangements.
