Dignity Health - St. Rose Dominican Neighborhood Hospital is seeking a PRN healthcare assistant to provide technical support and patient care across assigned areas. You will collect specimens, assist with activities, and help ensure patient safety and comfort in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires English fluency, appropriate certifications, and flexibility to travel between facility locations as needed. Join a team focused on compassionate, quality care across our neighborhood hospitals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with listed pathways.
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS/ALS per markets.
• PALS preferred in many markets; English fluency required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, report, and document clinical data; take vital signs and collect specimens.
• Collect lab samples and perform testing per policy and regulations.
• Assist with patient activities and care as indicated by care plan.
• Provide superficial wound care and patient safety measures.
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality of patient information.
• Maintain clean, safe environment and aseptic technique.
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge.
