Job summary

United Surgical Partners International Inc (USPI) in Oklahoma City seeks a Paramedic to support ED and med-surg units and be an active Rapid Response Team member. The role requires current Oklahoma paramedic licensure, BLS within 30 days, ACLS and PALS within 90 days, and strong data collection skills.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Paramedic in Oklahoma.
• BLS healthcare provider within 30 days of hire; ACLS and PALS within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in patient and situation assessment in ED/med-surg units.
• Gathers and documents data for patient assessment.
• Notifies ED provider when changes occur and assists with plan of care.
• Performs lead placement for routine cardiac monitoring and 12-lead ECG per policy.
• Responds to duties on desk as needed and maintains professional communication.
