Cleveland Clinic Mentor Hospital in Mentor, Ohio, is seeking a PRN Paramedic to join the Emergency Department team. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality emergency care, performing advanced life support, and stabilizing patients in urgent situations under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

You will work mid‑shift/evenings from 3:00pm to 3:30am with additional availability for 11:00am to 11:30pm as needed; weekends and holidays as required.

Competenze

• Completion of an accredited EMS-Paramedic training program.
• Current EMTP licensure in Ohio.
• BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross).
• ACLS certification (AHA or Red Cross).
• PALS certification (AHA or Red Cross on hire or within one year).
• Clinical experience through an EMS Paramedic training program.

Mansioni

• Provide duties thatassistin providing patient care in the Emergency Department under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Obtain and record vital signs.
• Perform EKGs, CPR, phlebotomy and airway management as needed.
• Initiate cardiac monitoring, oxygentherapyand saline locks.
• Notify the RN and/or physician of rhythm changes.
• Applyorthopaedicappliances and simple splints.
• Size crutches and teach crutch walking.
• Assistwith equipment setup, chest tubes, gastric lavage, LP, etc.
• Assistwith restraint and seclusion of patients and apply restraint devices.
• Transport patients and specimens.
• Assistwith sterile procedures and cleaning andmaintainingsupplies and equipment.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect patient privacy.
• Perform fluid/drug administration.
