Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis is seeking a Paramedic-IP to provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department under RN supervision. The role involves coordinating care with multiple departments and protecting patient rights and confidentiality in line with Mercy's Mission and Service Standards.

Qualifications include EMT-P licensure, BLS certification, and a preference for 1 year paramedic experience. The position is full-time, nights, with a 36-hour work week and benefits as described by Mercy.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Licensure: EMT-P licensed in state of practice.
• Experience: Experienced or new paramedic; 1 year preferred.
• Certifications: BLS; ACLS/ALS; PALS; may obtain prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department under RN supervision.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments.
• Uphold patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
