Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington is seeking a Paramedic- IP to provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department under RN supervision. You will coordinate care with other departments, uphold patient rights and confidentiality, and perform duties in line with Mercy Mission and Service Standards.

The role offers full-time night shifts (36 hours per week) in a 26-bed ED, with a focus on a high-functioning team providing 24/7 care with a strong emphasis on compassionate patient support and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• EMT-P licensure in state of practice.
• Experience as a paramedic or new paramedic welcome.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/ALS and PALS may be required based on position.
• Minimum one year paramedic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Coordinate patient care with ED team and other departments.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality per Mercy standards.
• Perform duties aligned with Mercy Mission, Values and Service Standards.
