Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington is seeking a Paramedic to join the Emergency Department. You will provide direct patient care under RN supervision, support care coordination, and uphold Mercy Service Standards and patient rights.

This full-time night position offers 36 hours per week, opportunities for ACLS/PALS, and benefits from day-one coverage, retirement plans, and education assistance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• EMT-Paramedic licensure in state of practice required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred; ACLS/ALS and PALS certifications encouraged.
• Minimum one year paramedic experience preferred but new paramedics considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department under RN supervision.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.
• Adhere to Mercy Mission, Values and Service Standards in all duties.
