Job summary

CHS Career Site is seeking a Paramedic for the Emergency Department to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across all ages during night shifts in a part-time role. You will perform advanced life support, assist with procedures, and document care in the EMR while coordinating with the care team.

The position requires completion of an accredited Paramedic program, with 0–2 years EMT-P experience. Hospital ED or critical care transport exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Technical School completion of an accredited Paramedic program.
• Associate Degree in Emergency Medical Services or related field preferred.
• 0-2 years EMT-P experience required.
• Experience in hospital ED, ambulance service, or critical care transport preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs clinical care and advanced life support under supervision.
• Assists with emergency procedures, including resuscitation and trauma care.
• Communicates changes in patient condition and supports clinical response.
• Administers medications per protocol and documents accurately.
• Documents care in EMR in a timely manner.
• Supports patient throughput and coordinated care in ED.
