HCA Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Paramedic for the ED at St. Davids Georgetown Hospital.

The role involves assessing and communicating patient health status to the team and physician, maintaining charting systems, and ensuring patient safety in a fast-paced emergency setting. You will perform and assist with a wide range of life-support procedures, manage supplies, and educate patients and families about care plans. A Texas EMT-P license and BLS/ACLS are required or preferred per policy.

Qualifications

• Completion of required coursework/graduation from an accredited Paramedic or EMT program.
• Graduate of an Associate’s Degree program in Paramedic or EMT – preferred.

Responsabilités

• Collect data and formulate a plan of care for each patient.
• Facilitate flow of patients through the emergency care system.
• Educate patient and/or family in the patient’s care.
• Receive patient report from EMS via radio.
• Stock, check and clean equipment as appropriate.
• Administer IV fluids and respiratory treatments.
• Perform CPR and ACLS as necessary.
• Assist with various procedures and setups as required.
