Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare West seeks a Paramedic ED to join our emergency services team. Under the direction of the ER Director, Manager, Charge Nurse, or RN, you assist with patient care and equipment readiness while upholding a safe, compassionate care environment.

Qualifications include ACLS, BLS, and PALS within 30 days of start; Paramedic credential and a high school diploma or GED are required. No travel or prior experience required. Comprehensive benefits are offered.

• Paramedic credential and high school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients using proper transfer techniques and monitoring equipment.
• Accepts changes in responsibility in a positive and effective manner.
• Demonstrates customer service principles when providing care and services.
• Rounds at least hourly on patients during the shift.
• Supports and promotes manager and directors decisions and initiatives.
• Completes other activities as assigned.
