Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Paramedic certification by the State of North Carolina required.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
• Record and monitor vital signs and patient status.
• Assist with procedures and administer medications as delegated by RN or provider.
• Transport patients as needed and coordinate with medical staff.
