Job summary

Mercy South Emergency Department is seeking a Graduate Nurse Resident for a full-time night shift (36 hours/week) with January 18, 2027 or June 7, 2027 start dates. The program offers a 16-week residency, sign-on bonus for new grads, and education assistance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• Current Missouri RN license and/or compact licensure.

Responsibilities

• Maintains professional accountability for patient care for the assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
