TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital is seeking a PRN Emergency Room Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with medical providers, document care, and advocate for patients while teaching families about conditions, plans, and follow-up steps.

The role requires 2+ ER RN experience and active RN licensure, with ACLS, BCLS, NCI, and PALS onboarding within specified timeframes.

Qualifications

• 2+ ER RN experience required.
• ACLS within 90 days of start date.
• BCLS within 30 days of start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 90 days of start date.
• PALS within 90 days of start date.
• RN license: Associate Degree or RN Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patient pain with ongoing reassessments after interventions.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, and document care in the medical record.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients/families/caregivers about conditions, plan, medications, and follow-up.
• Explain non-medicinal follow-up measures and promote self-management.
