Job summary

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited NP program with California NP Furnisher Number and DEA registration; bilingual skills are preferred and emergency medicine experience is a plus.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- California Nurse Practitioner Furnisher Number.
- DEA Registration (Drug Enforcement Administration, Office of Diversion Control).
- Graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner training program.
- Two years of emergency medicine experience preferred: urgent care experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- Bilingual skills preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provides primary healthcare in collaboration with physicians under supervision of ED/Outpatient medical directors.
- Manages selected cases according to established protocols and prepares treatment plans.
- Orders x-rays, other diagnostic procedures and writes prescriptions per protocols.
- Conducts health assessments with diagnostic tools and laboratory tests and educates patients.
