Job summary

You will coordinate care touchpoints, maintain a safe environment, monitor patients and families, and participate in joint Commission infection control, ensuring seamless continuity of care and memorable patient experiences.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license to practice in Louisiana (LSBN).
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• ACLS certification; new grads must obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize, coordinate and delegate all care touchpoints for patients.
• Maintain a safe environment for patients, families, and staff.
• Monitor and engage with patients and care teams about significant events or changes in condition.
• Prevent and treat wounds and ensure infection control requirements.
• Ensure continuity of care and a high-quality patient experience.
• Consult with supervisor when assignments cannot be completed safely.
