Qualifications

• RN licensure required
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Experience in acute care settings preferred
• Ability to work in fast-paced ER environment
• English proficiency in reading, speaking and writing

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments across physiological, psychological, and social domains.
• Create and update individualized care plans based on needs and standards of care.
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and self-care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record.
• Assess and respond to changes in patient status promptly.
• Ensure infection control and safety standards are followed.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families.
• Lead and delegate tasks to the care team as needed.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and quality improvement.
