Job summary

AdventHealth in Palm Coast, Florida is seeking an RN for night-shift duties in a hospital setting. You will conduct assessments, develop care plans, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.

You will educate patients and families, document care, and supervise support staff while advancing clinical competencies through the clinical ladder program.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with Florida license (RN) required.
• Bachelor’s in Nursing preferred.
• 1+ year of acute hospital experience preferred.
• 12-lead EKG experience required.
• Strong clinical assessment and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments of patients' physical, mental, and emotional health.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care among physicians, nurses, social workers, and therapists.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment options, and care plans.
• Document patient information accurately in the medical record.
• Administer medications and treatments safely per protocols.
• Supervise nursing and support staff and supervise discharge planning.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and address care-related issues.
