Job summary

Baptist Health Brookwood Hospital is seeking a qualified registered nurse to administer patient care in acute and hospital-at-home settings. The role emphasizes individualized care plans, collaboration with the healthcare team, and maintaining regulatory standards across patient populations.

Eligible candidates will have an accredited nursing degree, Alabama RN licensure or multistate license, and current BLS.

Qualifications

Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
Current Alabama RN license or valid eNLC multistate RN license.
Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC are required for certain areas.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation to travel to perform job duties for Hospital Care at Home Inhome nursing.

Responsibilities

Assesses patient’s needs and develops/revises an individualized plan of care based on patient needs and responses.
Respects diversity by building respectful relationships with all team members and customers.
Functions as a patient and family advocate.
Delivers care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the unit/department.
Coordinates the care and delegates tasks to other team members as appropriate.
Documents patient care meeting required regulatory standards.
