Job summary

The role may include additional duties within the scope of practice. A nursing degree is required with BSN preferred, and active RN licensure, BLS, and area-dependent

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Active RN licensure required; BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be required depending on area.
• Ability to observe, assess, and record work, safety and infection control standards.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to resolve customer complaints and concerns.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff on shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Utilize the nursing process for patient assessments, planning of care, and performance of care interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare clinicians in planning and implementation of patient care.
• Perform additional duties as assigned within the scope of the role.
