The nurse will organize, plan, and deliver high-quality patient care under the supervision of the ED Unit Supervisor.

The role requires CA RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, and ED nursing experience. Watson Model of Care applies, with emphasis on age- and population-specific needs.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical ED nursing experience.
• California RN license required; BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications preferred.
• Spanish bilingual skills preferred; basic computer/EMR skills.
• Annual Workplace Violence Prevention training per hospital policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient- and family-centered care in the Emergency Department.
• Plan, organize, direct, and coordinate care for a defined group of patients.
