Job summary

Centerpoint - Georgetown, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking an Emergency Services RN for PRN night shifts (7p–7a). The ED is a 15-bed unit with a busy patient mix.

You will perform planning of care, administer medications, document care, monitor patient condition, assist with activities of daily living, and collaborate with the care team. Requirements include Kentucky RN license (compact accepted), ADN (BSN preferred), BCLS; ACLS, PALS and NIHSS within 90 days; national certification within 1

Qualifications

• Must have Kentucky RN license (compact accepted).
• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• BCLS; ACLS & PALS & NIHSS within 90 days of hire.
• National certification within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Plan of care interventions, including medication administration and clinical treatments.
• Document patient care and monitor patient condition.
• Communicate patient status to care team, physicians, patients and families.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Coordinate transfers, discharge planning and referrals.
• Provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, and condition.
