Baptist Health ER & Urgent Care - Georgetown is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department for a part-time, third-shift role in Georgetown, Kentucky. The RN will implement professional nursing care focused on the patient as a whole, ensuring a caring, healing environment.

Requirements include Kentucky RN licensure, a nursing degree (BSN preferred), BLS certification (ACLS/PALS/NRP as required), and commitment to ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; must obtain if not current within 30 days.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP and dysrhythmia training as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop care plans.
• Provide direct nursing care to ED patients.
• Demonstrate leadership and support quality of care.
• Maintain a healing environment and strong patient relations.
• Collaborate with ED team to ensure timely interventions.
• Monitor patient status and adjust plans as needed.
• Document care and communicate changes to physicians.
