Centerpoint - Georgetown is seeking an Emergency Services RN for PRN night shifts (7p-7a) requiring 4 shifts every 6 weeks. The role supports a high-volume ED with diverse trauma and non-trauma cases, and requires Kentucky RN licensure and an Associate Degree in Nursing.

A 2026 Lantern Award recipient, our Emergency Department is a 15 bed unit with a 5 room fast track area. While we're not a trauma designated facility, we do have 3 trauma bays and see a variety of patients that come to the hospital. We average 80 patients a day.

How you'll contribute

An Emergency Services RN who excels in this role:

• Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
• Documents patient care given.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a current Kentucky or compact state RN license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• Education: Associates Degree in Nursing, Required
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Preferred
• License: Current RN to practice in the state of (KY)
• Certifications: BCLS; ACLS & PALS & NIHSS within 90 days of hire.
• National Certification within 1 year
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
