Job summary

Olathe Medical Center is seeking an RN for the Emergency Room, covering nights/evenings with full-time and part-time shifts at the Olathe Medical Pavilion C. The RN will provide holistic, therapeutic care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and lead in patient safety and care coordination.

Required education includes an Associate Degree in Nursing; BSN is encouraged by a signed ADN-to-BSN agreement by the fifth anniversary of hire. CPR/BLS and state licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing
• ADN-to-BSN agreement required by fifth anniversary of hire for nurses hired after Sept 1, 2026

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital policies related to medication safety and nursing practice.
• Answers calls, triages patient care, and coordinates health care services.
• Provides direct nursing care including chemotherapy, blood components, fluids, and other oncology treatments as prescribed.
• Implements and evaluates plan of care and communicates with patients and families.
