Job summary

Olathe Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Ortho/Spine unit at Olathe Hospital. This night-shift role provides direct patient care, collaborates with the interdisciplinary team, and uses the nursing process to ensure safe, holistic treatment.

Qualifications

• Must have RN licensure in Kansas or compact license.
• CPR/AED/BLS certification required; some units require additional unit-specific affirmations/certifications.
• Less than 6 months of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital policies related to medication safety and order writing formats.
• Answers calls, triages patient care needs, and coordinates with the care team.
• Demonstrates leadership and prioritizes patient safety in all actions.
• Delivers direct nursing care, including education to patients and families.
• Utilizes technology for patient care delivery and mandatory programs.
