Job summary

Olathe Health's Olathe Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for Medical/Surgical/Telemetry, full-time nights. The RN will utilize the nursing process to coordinate patient care, provide safe and holistic treatment, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across the continuum of care.

Responsibilities include adhering to medication safety policies, triaging patient needs by phone, and leading a team while ensuring high quality care.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate.
• Associate Degree Nursing completed.
• Licensed Registered Nurse with Kansas license or compact license.
• CPR/BLS certification required with 14 days to obtain additional BLS as applicable.
• Some units require extra unit-specific certifications or work experience.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital medication safety policies and proper administration.
• Triage calls and assess patient needs.
• Demonstrates leadership and mentors others in practice.
