Job summary

University Health Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Clinical Nurse RN to join the Emergency Room on a 36-hour, night-shift schedule (6:45 PM–7:15 AM). You will provide high-quality care for patients with acute, chronic, or terminal illnesses and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, Missouri RN license, and BCLS. BSN and RN specialty certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Current state of Missouri license as a Registered Nurse
• Current BCLS certification
• BSN or equivalent specialty degree (preferred)
• RN Specialty Certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Assess patients based on their diagnosis and care needs
• Plan, perform, delegate, and evaluate nursing care using your expert skills
• Work closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best patient outcomes
• Participate in committees, program evaluations, research, and education
• Supervise and mentor students
• Stay compliant with the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and all organizational and regulatory requirements
