Job summary

Ally Medical is seeking an experienced ER nurse to provide direct patient care in the emergency department and collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team. The role includes triage, procedures, and critical bedside management, with a focus on patient safety and quality documentation.

The ideal candidate has an accredited nursing degree, a valid RN license in the state, and 2+ years in ER settings, along with CPR/BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Two years of RN/ER nursing experience.
• Current RN license in state of practice.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care by evaluating the medical complaint or current symptoms and reporting to physician.
• Assists physicians during exams, procedures, diagnostic testing and treatments.
• Performs IV initiation/infusion/therapy, blood draws, cardiac monitoring, pulse oximetry, oxygen delivery, nebulized treatment, wound care, splinting, and basic bedside care.
• Recognizes and treats life-threatening conditions.
• Records all patient care data concisely and timely in the medical record.
